Event description

Description

The global community is facing a variety of challenges, including poverty, hunger, health, hygiene, education, gender and national inequality, energy, climate change, destruction of nature, and peacekeeping. In order to solve these challenges, open innovation will play greater roles than ever so that people throughout the world can work together across national borders in advanced technology and new business models to create solutions.

Each year, NTT DATA hosts a global Open Innovation Contest for high potential startups across industries and a wide range of technologies from AI to IoT to FinTech. This year the competition is being held in 15 cities globally and the London pitch day will be on 22nd February 2018. This year we are hosting the event in conjunction in Innovate Finance at the prestigious Level 39.

You are invited to join us at the NTT DATA Open Innovation Contest hosted with Innovate Finance, for an interesting afternoon of pitches, a panel discussion on effective innovation and networking, on Thursday 22ndFebruary, at Level39 the world's most connected community for finance, cybersecurity, retail and smart-city.

The London “Pitch Day” winner will have the opportunity to travel to Japan for the Grande Finale on March 22nd 2018.

Last year’s UK winner, Everledger, an innovative blockchain based provider of insurance services continues to go from strength to strength and we have a strong field of participants this year with solutions in the areas of AI, FinTech, Cybersecurity and IoT.
