Nuclear Careers Evening

NUVIA is thrilled to announce the return of our award-nominated Nuclear Careers Evening for 2026!

The nuclear sector is facing an unprecedented challenge: it needs to attract over 40,000 new people by 2030. These roles aren’t limited to those with degrees or advanced qualifications. The industry offers a wide range of opportunities for people with diverse experience and backgrounds. What matters most are the right behaviours and mindset – the technical skills can be taught.

It’s a great opportunity for anyone considering a career change, exploring new directions, or simply wanting to learn more. Attendees can speak directly with employers hiring in the local area and take part in workshops on CV writing and interview skills.

We will also be running Speed Interviews throughout the evening! You can register for the interview sessions on arrival at the event, please bring along a few copies of your CV if you're intersted in taking part.

The event will run from 4:00pm - 7:00pm, please drop-in at any time during this period.

From project managers and engineers to HR professionals and beyond, whatever your background or experience level, there’s a place for you in nuclear!
