Event description

Description

Public engagement is an integral and exciting part of life as a researcher and can help in developing a greater understanding of the broader context of your work by getting new perspectives and ideas. There are lots of approaches to public engagement including festivals, workshops with schools, art collaborations and working with museums.

The Hub is looking to expand its public engagement activities, and is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to contribute to a programme of events.

This session will explore what public engagement is, why it is important and how to get creative and devise your own activities. You will also hear from other researchers who will present their experiences of public engagement.

All welcome, including PhD and MSc students.
