SAFETY & RISK FORUM CONFERENCE

Assystem is hosting its first ever Safety & Risk Forum at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester, on the 18-19th September 2025, building on 15 years of experience under Corporate Risk Associates (CRA) following it's integration on January 2025.

This year's CPD certified two-day event will explore the theme of:

Adapting to Change: How Policy and Technology Transformations are Shaping Nuclear Safety and Risk Services in the 21st Century.

This year's event will also have a strong lens on:

  • The impact of UK policy changes
  • What technical innovation means for safety and risk
  • How safety and risk considerations are enhancing new nuclear energy technologies

Consisting of a action packed two day conference and awards evening, the event will be filled with insightful discussions, prime networking opportunities, and thought provoking expert speakers from across the nuclear safety & risk landscape and related sectors.

This year Assystem is also launching our first Safety & Risk Forum Awards in the evening between our conference days to celebrate existing and emerging industry leaders who have contributed to the nuclear industry in unique ways!

What are the nearest train stations to the Kimpton Hotel in Manchester

Manchester Piccadilly train station with direct links to London is a 14 minute walk from the Kimpton Hotel and Manchester Oxford Road train station is also only a 2 minute walk from the hotel, which is situated opposite the train station.

What is the nearest car park to the Kimpton Hotel in Manchester?

The NCP Manchester Palace car park is a only a 3 minute walk from the Kimpton hotel located on Whitworth street. The Kimpton offers preferential rates to guests of £20 for 24 hours and guests can pay for their parking with our reception team.

Does the hotel have disability access

The hotel offers disability access to the Whitworth Suite with assistance. Guests can take the lift from the reception upwards, navigate a corridor of bedrooms, and take another lift down to the Whitworth Suite.

If i'm a speaker at the event and recieve a full free ticket, what does this include?

Speakers will receive a full free ticket to the two day event from the 18-19th September. The ticket includes, B&B from Thursday 18th September to lunch on the 19th September. All meals will be provided for the duration of the forum, including dinner during the awards night on the 18th September
