NUH Parent Education Class - Care After Birth (ONLINE)

This session is advised to be booked as a continuation of the NUH Parent Education Classes (Face-to-face and Online), before giving birth or as a separate session after the birth.

This classes are only for patients that have their pregnancy booked at Newham University Hospital. You birth partner is included in your ticket!

You will receive insight about:

• Going home with the baby and what to expect;
• Community care pathways by Midwife/Healh Visitor/GP;
• Perineal Care;
• Wound Care (with Cesarean Section);
• Concerning symptoms for mom and baby after birth;
• Common symptoms for baby;
• Getting to know your baby's behaviour;
• Building a relationship with your baby;
• Mental Health for parents;
• Returning to excercise;
• Safe Sleeping;
• Baby Swaddlening;
• Cord Care;
