NUH Parent Education Classes (ON LINE)
Overview
Parent Education Classes are advised to be attended between 28-36 weeks of your pregnancy.
The event is ONE intensive session and it will be run by the specialist Parent Education Midwife.

P LEASE, BE AWARE, CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE THEIR MATERNITY CARE UNDER NEWHAM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
By the end of these sessions, you will have an awareness of what to expect during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period. Such as:
- Physiological Stages of Labour;
- When it's the right time to attend Maternity Assessment Unit?;
-Natural Methods for coping in labour/pain relief/breathing techniques;
- Perineal Care;
- Low Risk/High Risk Care in Labour;
- When things deviates from normality? (Intrapartum Intervention);
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BOOK THE TICKET FOR YOUR BIRTH PARTNER AS IT'S INCLUDED IN YOURS!
