Numicon Advocate School Open Morning - Birmingham 11th July 2017
Tue 11 July 2017, 09:15 – 11:45 BST
See best practice of teaching with the proven Numicon approach at an Advocate School
Audley Primary School in Birmingham has just been appointed as Numicon Advocate School as a result of demonstrating good teaching and learning of the Numicon approach to teaching maths. Based on the proven concrete-pictorial-abstract aproach, Numicon encourages children to explore maths using structured imagery in order to understand and explain mathematical concepts.
The school is inviting teachers from local schools to book onto its open morning, taking place on Tuesday the 11th of July. Here, you will be able to observe lessons and ask questions about the school's experience of using Numicon, including the impact on results, behaviour, and pupil engagement.
Come and see how Numicon can transform the teaching and learning of mathematics in your school.
