Description

See best practice of teaching with the proven Numicon approach

Kemball School in Stoke on Trent has been appointed as a Numicon Advocate School, having demonstrated excellent teaching and learning of the Numicon approach to teaching maths in a special educational needs setting.

Join them for an Open Morning, where you will be able to observe lessons and chat to staff with any questions you might have about:

  • their experience of teaching with Numicon
  • the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach to maths
  • the impact on results, behaviour and pupil engagement

Based on the proven concrete-pictorial-abstract approach, Numicon encourages children to explore maths using structured imagery in order to understand and explain mathematical concepts.
