The day will begin with a welcome to UHI from Dr Heather Bain, Associate Head of the Centre for Rural Health Sciences; followed by a presentation by BSc Nursing Undergraduate Programme Lead, Danielle Woods. This will include further information about the work to date and the proposed changes to the BSc nursing programme. It is important that we hear a variety of perspectives to inform future changes to the programme and attendees will include a mix of students, healthcare professionals and members of the public.
Attendees will then, in small groups, have the opportunity to feedback on the various proposed changes to ensure the proposed programme is appropriate to prepare the future nurse. Tea/coffee will be provided.
