The Our Future project is working with over 30 primary schools and 15 multi-academy trusts in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, delivering a range of career-related learning activities to inspire children and help them link the learning they do at school to future jobs and careers.

The project is really keen to engage with parents and carers who have primary-aged children in the Derby and Nottingham D2N2 area and are encouraging parents to sign up to our informal Family Focus Groups. To learn more about career-related learning activities click on the video link below.

The first of 3 focus group meetings will be held online on Wednesday 8th December at 4.30 pm. We invite you all to attend. You will be sent a link to join virtually and you can listen and learn more about what the project is all about and then get involved in a group chat to give us your thoughts and feedback.

We understand that your child/children may be home from school at 4:30 or that you may need your child/children to assist you if English is not your first language so we wanted to let you know that they will be more then welcome to join in.

To attend the focus group meeting simply click on the green Register button at the top right corner of the screen.

dmh associates is the formal evaluation partner within the project. This is led by Dr Deirdre Hughes, who will act as facilitator for the Family Focus Group sessions to capture your views and opinions. Your personal contact details will be held only by dmh associates for the purpose of sending you the link to the meeting and will NOT be forwarded to any 3rd party organisation in line with Data Protection law.
