About this event

On Saturdays from May to September we offer a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, followed by a tasting of our still and sparkling wines. We begin with tea, coffee and Bridget’s homemade cakes, as you take in our stunning views of the South Downs, before a walk through the vines, wild flowers and down to the lakeside to meet the alpacas, with stops along the way for information, anecdotes and photographs. We head to the winery for a refreshing glass of something delicious, then each step of the wine making process will be explained. We then return to the wine lodge for a tutored tasting of 5 still and sparkling wines, including a Blush rosé and our still red Pinot Noir.

The tour and tasting will last approximately 2 hours, but you are welcome to stay afterwards to enjoy more wine and enjoy our beautiful vineyard. We also offer delicious platters made from local seasonal produce at the cellar door so you can make a day of it.

Frequently asked questions

How long will a tour & tasting be?

Allow 2 hours for the experience and arrive at 10:30am for an 11am start, finishing at approximately 1pm.

Will you go ahead if the weather is not good?

Yes, but we will spend more time in the winery and wine lodge. Bring suitable footwear for outdoors and warm clothes or waterproofs just in case.

How can I get to you?

There is plenty of space for parking. Our closest train stations are Pulborough and Billingshurst. The vineyard is a 45 minute walk across fields from Pulborough station or we suggest you prebook a taxi to and from the station as they can be busy on Saturdays.

Are you only open on Saturdays?

The vineyard is open from Monday to Friday all year round, as well as on Saturdays in the Summer, so if you can't join a guided tour, you can simply drop by the cellar door for a tasting.

What do i need to prebook?

Please prebook for a guided tour & tasting. You will also need to prebook if you would like a picnic to tuck into afterwards.
