Seeking camaraderie, adventure and a break from the daily grind?
Gather around a roaring campfire, and join our men's campfire collective!
Our Men's Campfire Collective is a supportive social group to get some blokes together to kick back, relax and connect with each and appreciate the great outdoors.
We meet monthly, usually on a Thursday evening. We do a woodland activiity such as wildlife watching or woodcraft, have a campfire supper and hang out in the woods by the fire. You can join in or just chat with the guys.
Situated in its own secluded, private plot within Fryland Scouts Centre, Heartwood is an ideal base to connect with the local nature.
Located within 60 acres of ancient woodland at Frylands, the natural wildlife is abundant with a variety of birds and even the occasional deer, badger, dormouse, bat and fox . We've even seen birds of prey over the site. Hopefully we'll hear the woodland tawny owls again.
We'll hold a safe and comfortable space to be yourself in the great outdoors.
We aim to provide a light supper of soup or similar.
The group will be led by Neil Peters, father of two, who founded Nuthatch Retreats locally with the aim of getting out of the office and into the outdoors, and Damian Clark, woodland expert.
All men over 18 welcomed. Why not sign up you and a friend?
