Introduction to nutrition

A basic overview of what food groups and timings are needed in the run up to and in recovery from fixtures/competitions.

In this workshop considerations for male athletes in additional to those covered in the Endurance and Strength and Power workshops will be discussed. Energy requirements to support optimal performance will be covered plus common nutritional deficiencies seen in male athletes. There will be tasty snack and meal ideas perfect for the male athlete.
