Wellness Afternoon: Nutrition Workshop – Myth Busting Edition
Monday 11th November 2025
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Earl's Court Health and Wellbeing Hub
Food is central to our health and wellbeing - but there’s a lot of confusion and misinformation about what’s “healthy” and what isn’t. This interactive nutrition workshop will focus on debunking common nutrition myths, helping us separate fact from fiction.
Together we will explore:
- Common misconceptions about diet and health
- Fads, labels, and “superfoods”: what’s real and what’s hype
- How culture, lifestyle, and environment influence our eating habits
- The truth about food as “medicine”
During the session, you’ll take part in interactive activities including a short reflection on your own eating habits, helping to identify myths you may have encountered. We’ll discuss evidence-based insights, examine case studies, and provide practical tips for making informed food choices.
This afternoon is all about learning, reflection, and open conversation. We’ll share experiences, challenge assumptions, and gain new perspectives on how to nourish our bodies without being misled by myths.
Whether you’re curious about nutrition, eager to make healthier choices, or just want to separate fact from fiction, this workshop is for you.
