The Nutrition Society is pleased to announce the updated Nutritional Genomics webinar.

During this 90 minutes of training, the following topics will be covered such as: basic genetics; examples of diet-gene interaction in chronic diseases; trends and developments in industry as well as where to find further resources.

The course has been developed by a registered dietitian, Mariette Abrahams, who has wealth of experience working in the NHS, and has further certification in Nutritional Genomics from the European Nutrigenomics Organisation in Wageningen (Netherlands) and in South Africa, plus practical experience in the field.

Who should attend?
Nutritionists, dietitians and health professionals with an interest in the emerging field of personalised nutrition, nutrigenomics and nutrigenetics. Plus post-graduate students, early and mid-career researchers and nutrition/ diet/ food scientists wishing to expand their knowledge in this rapidly developing new area.

How do I access the webinar?

Once you have signed up to join the webinar, you will be emailed the dial-in details a few days prior to it. This consists of a website link which you will need to click on. You will be able to listen to the presentation once you have joined the “classroom, where you will be able to interact with others and post questions to Speaker.
