NUTRITIONAL INTERVENTIONS FOR ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE
Alzheimer's disease is the most frequent cause of age related cognitive decline affecting 30 million people globally; it is predicted to affect 160 million by 2050. Whilst a diagnosis is usually made after the age of 60, the underlying processes that cause the disease start 10, 20 or even 30 years beforehand. Clare Daley from Cytoplan and Laura Stirling from Regenerus Labs join the BANT North of England Branch to explore the enormous potential for nutrition and lifestyle protocols to prevent and manage the disease, highlighting that Alzheimer's need not be 'inevitable'. The Bresden Protocol, based on the work of Professor Dale Bredesen who has spent his life studying Alzheimer's, is showing how a nutrition and lifestyle programme can produce outstanding results. His protocol is being introduced into the UK with the support of Cytoplan and the AIM Foundation.
Exhibitors include Cytoplan, myDNAhealth, Lamberts and Regenerus Labs. The Natural Dispensary is also supporting the event.
Please note there is no onsite parking at St Georges Centre. You can use parking facilities at The Light, the St Johns Centre and the Merrion Centre. These are all within 5 minutes walk from the St George’s Centre.
Bring a packed lunch or visit local cafes/shops which are within close walking distance from the venue.
