This workshop looks at best practice and at the realities of arts charity governance. We’ll take a thorough look at the compliance requirements of being on a Board, covering roles and responsibilities plus managerial, legal and financial duties. But that’s only half of the picture! The session will be delivered by Brona Whittaker, Head of Arts at Arts & Business NI.

Attendees will –
1) Learn more about the realities of arts charity governance and the experience of being a trustee of a cultural organisation
2) Gain knowledge on the compliance requirements of being on a Board, covering roles and responsibilities plus managerial, legal and financial duties
3) Be able to ask questions and engage through this webinar and upskill on board membership
4) Upskill on resources after attending to help with their board member journey or refresh on the roles and responsibilities of being a board member.
5) Connect with other trustees and leaders on arts board over refreshments!
