Aim of Forum: -
To provide an up to date platform in which practitioners can explore policy, practice and research in the protection of vulnerable Boys and Young Men at risk of CSE.
To provide NWG Network with an opportunity to update the forum on the work of the NWG and its network.
The learning from the forum will be shared to inform the NWG through the other Forums at the NWG.
To share ‘good practice’ and lessons learned.
To contribute to solving problems and finding solutions to local/national barriers to practice.
Provide feedback on client’s needs, concerns and interests.
To ensure that Boys and Young Men are consulted and engaged in both the development of policy and practice.
Feedback information about the community to establish developmental needs and creative interventions.
To comment and advise on national policy and practice
Monitor and evaluate services, resources and strategies that impact on the client group.
To help promote and publicise projects and services
Act as a planning tool – so that the forum can be consulted on service development and provision.

The venue is located on the East Service Road just off Raynesway (A5111). (look for a sign " UK Trade and Investment") turn into the Riverside Business Park and follow it to the right and right again into the large car park - you can park anywhere in the car park for free and head for the far left corner where our offices are located) We are easy accessibility to J24 of the M1 and East Midlands Airport via the A50, reached by the A5111 and A6.
The adjacent A52 dual carriageway is one of the city's principle transport routes, connection with J25 of the M1 to the east before passing into the neighbouring city of Nottingham.
It is a 20 minute cycle or a 10 minute taxi ride from the closest train station (Derby) or a 40/50 minute walk along the river!
