Our Open Events are designed to enable you to experience first-hand what it is like to study with us. During the event, you will see our fantastic facilities and meet with our friendly tutors and students. These events aren't just for young people; adults are also invited to attend and see how NWSLC can help you train higher and achieve more.


Harrowbrook is home to our construction, trades and logistics courses. This campus is located in the Harrowbrook Industrial Estate; our Harrowbrook Campus simulates a real-life construction and logistics workplace.

This campus is easy to access with public buses, and we have a FREE onsite car park.


Outline of the event:

Due to high demand, we have added time slots that you can pick from. This ensures you receive the best customer experience and can gain all the needed information to make future study decisions.

Once you have checked in at reception, you will receive a prospectus. After this, you can meet our staff members around our building, talk to our support teams and view our available facilities.

Frequently asked questions

How do I register for an Open Event?

All you have to do is simply select the 'get tickets' button and follow the instructions. Due to high demand, you will be requested to add a time slot to your ticket. Please ensure you do this and arrive at your allocated time.

Do I need to book a place?

Yes, we have a limited number of spaces available for each Open Event, so we request ALL PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS to pre-register and book a ticket.

Do I need to book a place for my parent(s) or guardian(s)? 

No, if your parent/guardian want to accompany you to the Open Event, they can easily be added to your ticket as a guest and support you during your visit.

Do I need to bring written confirmation of my booking with me?

Yes, you will be sent an email confirmation with your ticket, and this will have a barcode on it. You will need to show this barcode when you are at the check-in desk. The ticket can be printed out or displayed on your smartphone or handheld device.

I want to change/cancel the session I registered for? 

On Eventbrite, use the log-in details you entered when you registered for our Open Event. From there you will be able to amend your tickets and change your session or cancel your booking. If you have any problems doing this, please email marketing@nwslc.ac.uk

What time do I need to arrive?

Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes before your booked session.

Prospective students can attend together with their parents or a friend or partner. These events are not just for young people; adults are invited to attend and see how NWLSC can support your training needs. We also invite employers who would like to support NWSLC to our Open Events. 

What can I expect from an Open Event?

At our Open Event, you have a chance to look around our amazing campus and great facilities, speak to support staff, students, and tutors from all the course areas we teach and get advice on student finance, learning support and guidance on the application process.
