Did you know that you can apply for funding to cover course fees and living expenses (similar to a monthly wage) while you complete a PhD?
Do you have questions or are you unsure where to start?
Register for our virtual North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP) Studentship Application Development workshop, which will cover:
- What it’s like to do a PhD.
- Who the NWSSDTP are and details about the funding/scholarships and exciting training opportunities available to support PhDs/postgraduate researchers.
- The process of applying for a NWSSDTP funded PhD including tips about how to navigate each stage of the process.
Our workshops are particularly targeted at prospective applicants from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in academia, specifically:
- Candidates who identify as being from a Global Majority racial or ethnic group.
- Anyone who was the first in their family to attend university.
- Disabled candidates.
- People who are returning to academia after being away from education for more than three years.
