New working districts are evolving in major cities across the world, with hubs of talent and creativity taking shape beyond the center. How are the global cities, New York and London, transforming their neighbourhoods to accommodate new ways of working?
With The Collective driving the co-movement in London at Old Oak Common and Brooklyn Navy Yard becoming a cluster of innovation in robotics and artificial intelligence, there is a convergence between how we live, work and play, but are we ahead of the curve or do we need to do more to ensure we are creating pieces of city robust enough to function for future generations of employees?
We are thrilled to announce that AIA NY will host this tenth NY-LON Simultaneous Seminar at the Centre for Architecture in New York, joining Urban Design Forum as partners in this series which is a key part of the NLA International Programme, championed by KPF.
Breakfast will be served at 08:30 in New York, with the seminar beginning promptly at 09:00, whilst lunch will be served at 13:30 in London, with the seminar beginning promptly at 14:00. A live video seminar taking place simultaneously in both cities brings together speakers and audiences to foster cross-city dialogue and learning between London and New York.
