Specific timings of the event?

We are a hotel, let's be honest you can arrive whenever you like, we are always open. But officially, the bar for the MixTape event open at 7pm, the DJ starts at 8pm - 1am (NOT 23.59pm as stated above!). What you do within that time, there's no judgement from us, it's NYE after all!

Who's playing?

'Eminence Events' - The top two DJ's, Kav and Dev specifically! They have hosted all of our Xmas Party Nights here at the hotel and we have had awesome feedback! And if you don't believe us, DJ Dev has played Cafe Mambo (Ibiza), The Docks Club (Lisbon) and Naya (Morocco), not too shabby hey!

What's the dress code?

There isn't one! Wear what you like, what you feel most comfortable in, or one to dazzle on NYE! Makes no odds to us, as long as you have a great time, that's all that matters!

Can we have a bedroom for the evening?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course! The set rate for anyone joining us for the NYE Mixtape event receives a discounted rate of £97 for 2 ppl in a hot breakfast which will cure any hangover (contact the hotel on 01733 353750 to book directly). Also, by staying over, the bar is 24 hours, but I didn't tell you that!

What type of music will it be?

Predominantly bangers from 2000's and 2010's, however the DJ's are great at reading the crowd, so depending on the audience on the night they will swivel to make sure the night is fire for all!

Is it going to be 'hotel bar' pricing?

Accepted Answer

Hotel pricing is a thing of the past if we are being honest, restaurants, bars, hotels have had to come in line with one another to be competitive! A pint of Coors is £6, so not outrageous no, and all whilst you are in a nice environment.

Will there be food available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, an array of delicious pizza's are on offer. The Chicken Tandoori goes down particularly well in our opinion - but all dietary requirements are catered for within the selection. And if you want to get into the 'should pineapple be on a pizza' debate - that's for you to do in your own time.

Where is it exactly?

We are in the middle of town (opposite ASDA). The party room is located on the ground floor, a few steps away from the smoking/vaping area, the toilets and bar - everything is in one place which makes it the ideal location to party!

What safety measures have you taken?

We have a bouncer on the door to ensure a fun, but no drama, hassle free evening. We have 24 hour surveillance within the hotel and the exterior of the building and parking area. And if your name isn't on the list, you are unfortunately not allowed in.

What's the plan for midnight?

At midnight, our DJ's will lead the lively countdown for all to join, raising a drink and celebrating together in great spirits as we welcome the New Year in style.

How big is the bar? Will I need to queue?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not! We have one of the longest bars in Peterborough! There will be plenty of staff to ensure that you are back on the dancefloor in no time!

Will there be seating?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely, you can't dance the entire night... or can you? There will be some communal tables set up (first come, first sat type thing), there will be our casual lounge seating too - and they will be a pool table (but please don't sit on that)
