NYMAZ's biennial Early Years Music Network Conference returns in February 2018. Join us this year at Scarborough Spa on the gorgeous Yorkshire Coast!

The conference is open to anybody with an interest in music and Early Years, including musicians, Early Years teachers/practitioners, students, playgroup leaders, childminders, and those interested in developing their knowledge in this exciting area of work. Whether you're already a member of the Network, or haven't even heard of it, you're very welcome to come along! You can join the NYMAZ Early Years Music Network here.

The day will include a range of sessions, from individuals to arts organisations to Music Education Hubs, delivering high quality music activities for 0-5s locally and nationally, giving delegates a taste of the multitude of ways young children can be introduced to music. We will have Early Years Music packs available from MusicPorts Music shop on the day also ranging from individual items at £5 - full kits at £150. Sessions will include practical, skills-based learning as well as informative presentations to inspire.

You'll be able to pick up the NYMAZ Early Years Songbook (included in the price of your ticket!), a new book of 12 original compositions designed to be used in early years settings, and use it straightaway in a workshop exploring creative ideas to take back to your setting.

We'll look at the growing trend for commissioning work for early years children, and speak to some of the companies and venues making waves in this corner of the arts.

As always, we'll provide opportunities for delegates to network with other professionals in the field, whether to catch up or to make new contacts, and we encourage you to share with eachother some of your own experiences, achievements and/or challenges in Early Years music.

Please join us!
