O4P: Community Organising for Migrant and Racial justice

About this event
This is the second online session of the Organising for Power Programme!
On Wednesday, 26th of January 2022 at 5:30 to 8:30 pm, join us for our 2nd online session of the Organising for Power Programme.
In this 3 hour session, we’ll be :
- Examining fundamental concepts and principles of community organizing including why we need to organise for migrant/racial justice and how it affects change
- Exploring qualities of an effective organizer
- Practicing essential tools related to relational organizing
We hope that there is something here for everyone whether you are…
Someone who is new to organising who wants to learn the basics, or
someone with some experience of organising and would like to skill-up, or
someone working in a NGO or charity, who would like to move forward and bring community organising to your work.
…as long as you are working and fighting for the rights, welfare, and well-being of migrants and people affected by racism.
