The newest competition concept from your favourite friendly coffee freaks at Oatly. This time we've got a crafty one for you. It's going to look a little like...
Each team should be between 1-4 people, with a maximum of 6 teams.
Phase 1 - The plan. Each team will have a table or crafting area, a pencil and a pen. They'll have 10 minutes to scan the ingredients table (more on this in a second) and come up with their design for brewing coffee.
Phase 2 - The messy bit! Once the designed are sketched out, we'll have 15 minutes to build our brewers. Teams will race to the ingredients table to take what they think they'll need from a selection of edible and food safe things. We're talking spaghetti and lasagne sheets, rice paper, celery sticks and what ever else our local super market has that we think might work.
Phase 3 - The judgement. Once each team has finished their build, they'll take their creations over to the judges table to brew some coffee. We won't go into too much detail here, but the creativity involved in making the brewer is just as, if not more important than the flavour of the coffee. Obviously if the final brew tastes more like celery than coffee it won't go down so well...
Once the judges scores are tallied up, the winners will be announced.
