Oban is one of the most picturesque and most popular destinations for tourists in the Highlands. The town, informally known as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’ also lives up to its other nickname as the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland'. Attractions include Dunollie Castle, Oban Distillery, the Chocolate Factory/Shop, St Columba's Cathedral and McCaig's Tower, a Colosseum look alike, situated uphill offering the most spectacular panoramic views of the town and even across to surrounding islands. For a chance to feel and touch the Atlantic Ocean from this side of the world, you will also enjoy visiting Isle of Seil linked to the mainland by the historic and romantic Clachan Bridge, a graceful arch famously known as 'Atlantic Bridge'. This day trip also includes visiting Loch Awe, Scotland's lonest loch. Can’t wait to share this adventure with you! It jsut CAN'T BE MISSED!
