David Staunton, Dept of Biochemistry in Oxford, will be
presenting on ‘Everything you wanted to know about biophysical
techniques but were afraid to ask’.
Dr. David Staunton will be presenting on the The Biophysical Instrument Facility at this month’s Science Breakfast Club. David is a Research Lecturer and Manager of the Oxford University Biophysical Instrument Facility. This is a central resource for the biophysical analysis of proteins and other macromolecules. By bringing together a range of techniques, including ESI-MS,SPR and ITC, he has established a central facility that provides full technical support for both new and expert users in Oxford University and those outside. He is happy to discuss with researchers techniques
best suited to their needs.
The OBN Science Breakfast Club is open to everyone in the community. This means that even if you aren't a bench scientist, there is now the opportunity to attend these science-focused, yet informal networking breakfasts.
OBN's Science Breakfast Club includes coffee, juice and danish pastries, informal networking and a short presentation from someone in the Bioscience sector, keeping you up to date with pioneering advancements. These breakfast clubs are held on the last Friday of every month (except August) at the Park Place Brasserie in Milton Park from 8am to 9.30am.
