Ed will be joining us for the November 5th breakfast meeting.

There has been a debate in the media about R&D tax credits, with figures like Sir James Dyson this week suggesting that the rate of relief for SMEs should be 200%, higher than the 175% currently offered, in order to stimulate innovation. Big pharma in the UK are concerned at suggestions that large company rate (currently 130%) may be abolished. Even though the Conservatives suggested R&D tax credits would be safegaurded, there has still been no firm announcement from government confirming this. This is your chance to directly tell a Minister what impact the abolition of R&D tax credits would have on the UK bioindustry.
Past meetings have been attended by the CEOs, CFOs and other senior managers from Biota Europe, LMT, Abbott Diabetes Care, OrganOx, Alchemy Healthcare, Orthox, Glide, Oxford Contrast, Oxitec, PolyTherics, Syntaxin, Vertex and Zyoxel who have discussed a wide range of issues including raising VC and Angel finance, company valuation, and employment issues.
