Description

OBSEA - SOCIAL ENTERPRISE AND INNOVATION

FOR OXFORD BROOKES UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, STAFF AND RECENT GRADUATES (UP TO TWO YEARS).

You are invited to attend the OBSEA's session on Legal Structures for social enterprises in the UK on Wednesday 11th April between 5.30-7.30pm. JHB 206.

If you are thinking of setting up a social enterprise you need to know the difference between various legal structures such as co-operatives and community interest companies (CIC) for example. The structure you choose will affect the way you trade, the funding you can access and many other aspects of your enterprise. You may just want to get started but don't know what you need to do and who you need to inform. All these questions and many more will be answered at this important session run by Nicola Dickins who is a specialist social enterprise consultant running Profit for Purpose.
