Original Walthamstow School of Art student (1958–1962), Terry Day, will lead a drawing workshop covering the aspects of observation, line, form, shape, movement and gesture. The workshop will be based mainly on the observation of reality and in part the imagination. The teaching will be individually based, and will include group exercises in quick five-minute sketches to explore movement and gesture.

Age 16+

Terry Day is a multi-instrumentalist, improvisation pioneer, song writer, tune-smith, lyricist, poet, painter, and conductor, who studied at the Royal College of Art after his time at Wathamstow School of Art. His art practice veers between the figurative, abstract and landscapes, which lean towards the imaginative. Works are often small and modest in size.
