Description

Prior to the The Third International Conference on Physical Employment Standards, the University of Chichester and the Occupational Performance Research Group (OPRG) are honored to be hosting an Occupational Physiology Researcher Development Day as a pre-conference symposium and networking event.

This will be an informal but hopefully informative event where researchers interested / working in Occupational Physiology can meet together to discuss and share ideas and knowledge.

Please note, you do not have to be attending the PES conference to attend this event, it is free to all and all are welcome.

Timetable of events:

1000-1030 Arrive - Cloisters Chambers, Bishop Otter Campus

1030-1200 Research methods

1200-1230 Tour of labs

1230-1330 Lunch (will be provided - please email oprg@chi.ac.uk if you have any dietary restrictions)

1330-1500 Occupational physiology monitoring techniques

1500-1600 Room booked for more discussion and networking


Chichester is a ~30 minute train or car journey from Portsmouth and the University is easily accessible from the train and bus stations in the city. The Researcher Development Day has been planned to end to enable delegates travel back to Portsmouth to register for the PES conference and attend the welcome reception.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is a pay and display car park on the Bishop Otter campus or alternativly the capmus is a ~30 minutes walk from Chichester train station and bus terminal
