The haunting magical sounds from the Gong and Ocean Drum can quickly Entrain our brainwaves to slow down from the normal waking "Beta state" into the lower "Alpha" and "Theta" states and for many the journey will take them even deeper into the "Delta". state. These altered states of consciousness are well researched and shown to trigger the release of several happy hormones and chemicals by the brain to reduce tension and stress, improve blood pressure, elevate our moods, calming our minds, whilst promoting healing and wellbeing and reducing pain.. Coupled with our increased vibrational rate help connect us to our higher selves and even the universe.

Preparation

If you have not experienced a Gong Bath before don’t worry, and even though this is an Ocean Surf event there is no ‘getting wet’. The term ‘bath’ relates to you being ‘bathed’ in sound waves. A Gong Bath is a very unique experience where it can feel different each time, and also different for everyone present.

Please try to avoid any large meals, and alcohol prior to arriving. Although the room is heated, It is quite normal for your body temperature to drop during a Gong Bath, and warm loose fitting clothes are recommended, especially in the winter months. Blankets, cushions, eye masks, yoga mats and filtered or bottled water are all available, with nothing for you to bring except yourself, a smile and an open heart.

What Should I Expect During a Session?

Come with an open heart and a smile, and expect the unexpected, where healing and calmness are available. A journey where your body is cleansed, re-booted, re-calibrated and filled with healing spiritual energy. The vibrations massage every one of our bodies 37 trillion cells, soothing each of our 39 trillion bacteria that work continuously to keep us healthy and well, plus the billions upon billions of atoms that make up our body, many of these coming to us from the Big Bang over13 billion years ago and the remainder of our atoms are from exploding stars, making each of us a miniscule part of the Universe, where we are all connected to everything and everyone else. The healing qualities of the vibrations are fully absorbed, and assimilated into our body. All the good things coming your way is of a benevolent nature, full of peace, love, harmony, healing and positive intentions.

The Beat is Drums and Gongs

For this unique session Micheal uses two of the most powerful instruments, Gong and Drum. The sound and vibrations from both will flow through and saturate your body energetically, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually, allowing us to unplug ourselves from the hectic grid, and activate, and modify our states of consciousness in a positive way, to readjust the bodies natural rhythms, release tension and energy blockages, and bring inner calm and stillness, where deep healing can then occur.

Your Healing Journey Starts Here

• Entry available from 6.45 for a 7pm start. Fasten your seat belts and prepare for a magical journey starting in your inner self, and slowly expanding and spiraling outwards into the Universe.
• Once you are comfortable and settled Micheal will give a brief introduction and set the intention, which you can repeat, or you can choose your own.
• Micheal will begin playing the Koshi Air chimes, and Sea Shell Chimes to help promote a calm and relaxing environmenthel atmosphere.
• He will then guide you to close your eyes which will help to close almost 70% of the brains activity by closing off the optic nerve which supplies the brain with everything we see.
• He will than guide you to initiate some Deep belly breathing which uses two breaths in, a short pause and a long deep breath out. This technique will remove more C02 (Carbon Dioxide) from your body than any other breathing method, together with any any stale stagnant energy that has been trapped in your body. This modified breathing is also more effective in lowering tension, stress and anxiety, as well as your blood pressure and providing more peace and relaxation for your body.
• As you continue this advanced form of breathing your brain waves will start to slow down, going from Beta, into Alpha, which has a positive effect on the vagus nerve causing your parasympathetic nervous system to relax and calm the bodies main organs.
• The quartz crystals you will be holding have been Reikied so you will receive both Crystal and Reiki healing energy, and the rose quartz which can be placed over your heart chakra, not only to open it to the love of the universe, but also raising your vibration for as long as you hold them.
• Micheal will introduce a short guided meditation from Qigongs Inner or Healing Smile. This simple yet powerful exercise directs your own healing energy into your lungs, and then your heart and third eye chakras.
• The second guided meditation with the Chimes takes you to the oceans edge using a multi sensory method using sight, sound and touch to guide you to the beach as the Ocean Drum starts recreating the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach and rock. the session three Gongs used on this session slowly come to life, and quietly, then picking up pace as the tones become richer and fuller.
• Micheal will transition from Ocean Drum to one of his three Gongs and this will continue throughout the session.
• Your brainwaves will slow further taking you beyond Alpha into Theta and for some into Delta. These slower brainwaves can initiate the body to start healing at the cellular level and even repairing our DNA.
• As the Drum and Gongs are playing you can allow yourself, to drift off on your journey, using the least effort and perhaps recalling a past happy holiday on the beach , or you can continue with and focusing with the modified deep breathing, or you can go with the flow, or even let yourself fall asleep. Even asleep we will still receive all the benefits.
• These journey's can resemble a day dream, where your mind can feel miles away from your body, and for some even feel like you have left your body behind, even though your always safe and connected at all times.
• Time can become strangely distorted during a Gong bath. As we drift and cycle through different levels of consciousness time may feel as if its been contracted or gone quicker, while for some it may feel the opposite, as if time has been expanded and felt much longer.
• As our relaxation, energy and vibration increases further our journey can take us anywhere and everywhere, and it can be different every time and for everyone else, as you may learn from others.
• Eventually the session comes to an end, as the sound from the Shamanic Drum and Gongs become softer and softer before falling silent. But this is not an empty Silance, its a Sacred Silance where the receeding energies will remain for several minutes. Many find this the most calming.
• Micheal will allow you several minutes to soak up the receiding energies from the Drum and Gongs as you gently return to Earth.
• As you slowly come back down to Earth, your body will be waiting for you, but it will feel different. Less Stressed, More Calm, Balanced, Uplifted and Energised. Most people say they feel lighter, and happier, having Sensed and Felt the Warmth and Unconditional Absolute Love of the Universe.

The Ocean Drum

Micheal's Ocean Drum harnesses the power of rhythmic waves to promote relaxation, meditation, and overall well-being, and produce an highly immersive experience that transports you to the tranquil shores of the ocean, and taking you into a deep state of relaxation and inner peace, and re-activate our happy childhood memories of the seaside.

The Ocean Drum is our gateway to a world of healing vibrations and harmonious melodies. Micheal's exquisite instrument combines the mesmerizing sounds of rolling and crashing waves. These Drums create what we call white sound, which is really good for breaking down and cleaning away blocked, stagnant energy that is trapped in the body. This white sound can also influence the fluids in our body in a positive way. And as our body is almost 70 % water the Ocean drum alows for a cleaner and quicker flow of energy in the brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, bladder and even in the skin.

The Gongs

Gongs are one of the oldest and most powerful therapeutic and transformational instruments on this world. For thousands of years these timeless instruments have been used for, ceremonies, rituals, prayers, and meditation. Sound Healing can raise our bodies vibration, and at the same time slow down our brainwaves, together this greatly enhances the body’s natural ability to regenerate and heal itself, and reach its optimal state of functioning, while offering a psycho-acoustic gateway to a heightened state of consciousnesses, as the sound frequencies surpass the intellectual part of the brain before travelling to the core of the bodies cellular system, where the healing qualities can be fully absorbed and assimilated.

The Gong Produces a Huge Plasma Field Around Everyone Present

The late theoretical physicist "David Bohm" discovered that when a Gong is played, the metal becomes “excited”, and the electrons become highly charged electromagnetically, forming a huge plasma field to be created off the Gong and both the player and listeners become part of that field. When the vibrational activity of the Gong ends, the electrons ‘go back’ to their original atoms, and once the Gong comes to rest the energy field collapses. When the Gong is revved up again the Plasma field expands and intensifies. Thus from a scientific point the participants of the event are being electromagnetically charged in a positive, benevolent and holistic fashion. Experiencing Energies

It is possible for some people to experience very brief moments of anxiety, grief or sadness while harmful negative energies begin to collapse, and fall away and this is perfectly normal and beneficial to maintain our mental health. Should this happen there are several things you can do to minimise any negative effects.. You can restart your deep belly breaths and or the Healing Smile at any point which will help to re-ground you, and minimise any anxieties or other negative feelings. Micheal incorporates periods of silence or "Sandhya" between the sounds, in order to help your mind process and release any negative experiences,and feelings.

After you return home Micheal will send everyone a Free Distance Crystal, Reiki Healing session each evening between 8 - 9pm starting the following evening for 7 days.

The 7 Crystal Reiki healing sessions you will receive afterwards, will also help greatly to completely re balance you and your energy.These additional sessions can be of particular help when someone experiences some sadness, grief, and anxiety. These negative aspects should all be viewed in a positive light as it indicates that the 4 energies are working to heal and restore your body and mind.

Is It Safe For Me?

Taking part in a combined Sound, Crystal,Reiki and Chi Kung healing session is considered safe for most people, regardless of age or fitness level, and my sessions are open to anyone from 18 years of age. Teenagers of 16 to 17 may attend with a parent.

Purely as a precautionary measure it is not recommended if you are pregnant, or have a pacemaker, or any electrical or mechanical devices fitted, epilepsy, or seizures. Or if you have schizophrenia or Bipolar. If you are in any doubt about any of your medical conditions please speak with your Consultant, Practice Manager or GP first.
