Ochre Botanical Studios // Autumn Bowl Workshop

Floral Studio // South Trinity Road on Sat 25th October 2025 at 14:00.

Inspired by the landscape and gardens around us, join us for an autumn afternoon spent in our workshop, creating a seasonal bowl arrangement.

This hands on workshop will look at the art of floral design using locally grown botanicals. Later in autumn we cherish all the textures, seed heads, grasses and delicate foliage as well as the last few flowers - all telling the story of a favourite season as it unfurls.

In line with Ochre's values of promoting floristry practice that is responsible and environmentally conscious, this workshop will focus on creating a bowl arrangement using sustainable techniques that you can re-use again and again at home. This small class will gather together like-minded individuals who enjoy being around nature, and all levels of experience will be supported. Tools and materials are provided and there will be light refreshments provided throughout.

Are the workshops suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. We will be on hand to guide you in creating your own design and share all our expert tips and tricks!

Are the workshops suitable for children?

These particular workshops involve use of sharp tools and are open to adults only.

What do I need to bring?

All tools and materials will be provided. You may like to bring a pair of thin gardening gloves to protect your hands, but this is not essential. A small crate or box to help transport your arrangement home is very helpful if possible.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear. Wrap up warm if the weather is cold, however, there will be heating in the venue.

Will there be refreshments?

Light refreshments will be provided. Please let us know ahead of time if you have particular dietary requirements that we should be aware of by emailing hello@ochrebotanicalstudios.co.uk

Is there parking?

There is limited parking available in the surrounding streets. We recommend travelling by public transport to avoid disappointment.

Is there wheelchair access?

The venue has step-free access but does not have an accessible toilet. Please get in touch with us if you would like more information and we can advise.
