Want to expand your understanding of OCR’s GCSE (9-1) Maths qualifications?
This free teacher network will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to discuss your subject with an OCR Subject Advisor and like-minded colleagues in your local area. It will allow you to discuss teaching and assessment, share ideas and best practice and build supportive networks.
At this network, we’ll be focusing on:
- A review of the summer 2019 assessment series across qualifications
- An in depth look at how students have performed in the GCSE (9-1) mathematics assessments to date. We will focus on performance in mathematical reasoning and problem solving questions (those assessing the new AO2 and AO3), plus questions on ‘new content’ and at both Foundation and Higher tiers. Areas that students have found challenging will be identified and suggestions for delivering them discussed.
Teacher networks are designed to be teacher led with our Subject Advisor on hand to facilitate and answer questions (they are not CPD training events). With this in mind, we invite you to bring any resources or ideas you would like to share.
