Wed 26 April 2017, 16:00 – 18:00 BST
Free OCR/English Heritage Event at Kenilworth Castle for Teachers of OCR's New History A (Modern World) and History B (SHP) GCSEs
On the afternoon of Wednesday 26 April English Heritage, in collaboration with OCR, are hosting a special event to introduce teachers to our new resources which can be used to support your teaching of the historic environment components for both new GCSE qualifications.
Kenilworth Castle is the 2019 site study for GCSE History A and is also proving a popular choice for the History Around Us component for GCSE History B. Teachers of either component are welcome to join us.
The itinerary for the afternoon is as follows:
- 4.00pm - Welcome, refreshments and informal networking
- 4.30pm - Tour of Kenilworth Castle and talk with Kenilworth Castle representatives
- 5.15 - Resources introduction and Q&A with Alice Hossent, English Heritage Learning Manager and Asher Goodenough, OCR History Subject Specialist
- 5.45pm - General Q&A session with OCR
- 6.00pm - Close.
We hope to see you there.
