This Month's Extraordinary Host: Barnton Bunker!

We're incredibly excited that this month's Climate Bites will be held at the Barnton Bunker. This isn't just any venue; it's a reclaimed piece of history that takes us to the pivotal periods of WW2 and the Cold War, while also anchoring us in Edinburgh's present through its use as a community space.

The Barnton Bunker Preservation Society is hard at work, with the dedication of passionate volunteers, bringing this significant historical site back to life through an extensive restoration project. But their work extends beyond the bunker itself. They're also deeply committed to safeguarding the wider Barnton and Corstorphine Hill area through various conservation, tree planting, gardening, and educational initiatives. By joining forces, they're striving to build a more sustainable future for both their local community and the environment.
