Hello Social Impact Enthusiasts,
We hope you enjoyed the summer time! Following from the individual discussions we had with many of you and a survey that we ran a couple months ago our next event will focus on practical knowledge on how to start a Social Enterprise, and more specifically on legal structures.
Legal Structures & Strategy with Adrian Ashton
Learn to leverage your knowledge and better understand the legal structures that exist for creating a Social Enterprise. We are sure the presentation will be helpful and give you useful guidance and insights for selecting the best legal formation and governance for your social venture. You should join us if you:
- Want to better understand how to structure your social enterprise
- Want to better understand how each legal formation can influence your social business.
- Are in the process of starting up a social enterprise
To do so we are inviting Adrian Ashton to lead the discussion. Adrian has been feted with international and national awards for his support to social enterprises and as a business consultant. He was named as one of the UK's Top 10 business advisors by the government in 2015, and has (mainly positive) reputations with national sector bodies around legal structures and governance. He is also the only freelance consultant in the UK - and among the very few (if not the only) globally - to annually publish a social impact report on himself. More information and cheesy pictures at www.adrianashton.co.uk
Adrian will give a 45min crash course and then we will open the discussion to the audience for a Q&A session.
Manchester a Social Enterprise City - Application Status Update
Following Adrian, our founder George Konsta will give an update on the status of applying to make Manchester a Social Enterprise City.
