Event description
Do you sometimes listen too much to your negative inner voice? We'll be learning about Wrong Indications & how to challenge when we do this.

About this Event

This network provides a supportive space for socially minded people to share ideas and develop as sole traders or businesses. It is for those wanting to think about some ethical and value based business issues and for those that want to do good in their business.

The First Tuesday network is run by THiNK, and will run every First Tuesday of the month and we collect £6 towards costs.

This meeting our speaker is Andrew Williams will be teaching us about Wrong Indications (WI) and how it is possible with WI to stop, have a think then substitute a negative WI for a more accurate Correct Indication (CI) to reduce the affect and move on.

He will be giving you examples of wrong indications in several scenarios, so that we can learn to recognise them ourselves.

This meeting will involve discussions in groups, where we will think on how we can use this to help us in our working lives.

Andrew Williams spent 6 years in the Navy and 27 years in the Fire Service. He studied pschology so that he could help his peers and he now helps people with traumatic incidents with wrong indications and life stress reduction. He is registered as a practitioner with the Traumatic Incident Reductions Association.

Emma Torrance, co-owner of THiNK will be hosting tonight’s network. She has a SFEDI practitioners qualification in advising businesses. Her specialisms are: Businesses with a social purpose, underdstandingbusiness and financial management and working with creatives. She has worked with many freelancers, private businesses and social enterprises. Emma currently provides mentoring and workshops, as well as co-managing THiNK.

Who should come? This network is aimed at those wanting to think about some ethical and value based business issues and for those that want to do good in their business. Our network maybe of interest to freelancers, businesses, social enterprises, community or not for profit organisations.

We collect £6 towards costs.
