Advocating for Mental Health Through the Power of Nature
We’re delighted to welcome Will Clarricoats from The Pierce Perspective, a pioneering charity based in Burbage, Leicestershire. The charity blends mental health advocacy, nature-based therapies, and community connection to make a real difference. From therapeutic gardens and wellbeing workshops to retreats and community events, their projects use the restorative power of nature to break down stigma, build resilience, and empower people of all ages. With initiatives ranging from mindfulness in green spaces to beekeeping and corporate CSR partnerships, The Pierce Perspective is helping to create a future where mental health is supported, celebrated, and accessible to all.

Cynthia, the owner of Cafe Desa will on hand to provide a nutritional breakfast to give your morning a healthy start. Recent breakfasts have included tasty treats such as protein balls, carrot cake overnight oats, matcha tea, cold-brew coffee, delicious sourdough with tahini and Cafe Desa's own recipe granola and yogurt.
If this doesn't sound like your usual breakfast menu, come along and have a taste and discover some new favourites!
Join us at 9am for networking and breakfast, Will will be speaking from 9.30am and we'll round off the session with a further opportunity to network and enjoy more delicious food and ask any questions you may have.
Please note this event will be held on our top floor which involves climbing 8 flights of stairs - we have no access to lifts.
We have a minimal charge to attend which will be donated to our chosen charity for 2025, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
