Join us at Creative Bloc for our October Week Clay Club - Pottery Wheel Lessons🎨 Let's get messy and creative!
The lessons are 1hr long and limited to 4 in each session so that everyone gets the support they need whilst throwing their first pots on the potters wheel! Everyone will get the opportunity to explore creating different shapes on the wheel and create some small pots.
At the end of the session everyone will choose their favourite two pots to keep and a coloured glaze which studio technicians will apply after firing for you. You can expect pots to be ready for collection approx 3 weeks after the class.
This is perfect for kids aged11-16yrs* to express their creativity through clay. No previous experience is required and all materials and firing costs are included.
We have small aprons but please be aware that wheel throwing is MESSY and wear clothes that you don't mind getting clay on. Clay will wash out in a regular wash but can stain white clothing.
*Our recommended age is just a guide and we offer flexibility to attend whichever session a child feels more comfortable in. Please check our other Eventbrite listing for the 7-10yrs clay club details.
This is a drop-off class but parents are welcome to have a cuppa in the front room during the lesson if they would like to stay.
