"Odd man in" - Overcoming the hurdles on a "level" playing field at the Bar
Jason Pitter QC
Jason Pitter QC is a barrister based in Leeds whose practice includes criminal law, public law, health and safety and professional misconduct. In his 22 years at the Bar to date he has overcome the challenges of a career that is not known for its diversity to rise to the very top of his profession.
A persuasive advocate for widening participation at the Bar, we are delighted that Jason will speak at the first Law Extra session this semester. He will give an insight into life at the Bar and provide encouragement and guidance to those who may be daunted by the process of qualifying and securing a pupillage.
Jason's talk will be suitable for all students interested in a career at the Bar, and he will be available to answer questions afterwards.
