Odissi Pop Up Dance Performance

Come and experience the beauty of Odissi dance, one of India’s oldest classical art forms, with Kala the Arts at the V&A.

Inspired by the sculptures in the South Asia Gallery, Artistic Director Sushmita Pati and her dancers will perform Tribhang, a specially created choreography interwoven with immersive and meditative music.

After a 15-minute performance, families can join a fun, interactive workshop to learn the graceful movements of Odissi together.

Suitable for ages 5+, this is a free and drop-in event with 45-minute sessions at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 at the South Asia Galleries, Room 41.
