Ofcom is hosting a virtual event as part of the consultation process for our proposed 2022/23 Plan of Work.

The event provides an opportunity for people to have their say on our plans for the coming year. This is part of our wider consultation process ahead of the publication of our Plan of Work statement in March 2022.

In a change from previous years, this year we will host one event with guests from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland invited to join this single event so that attendees and Ofcom colleagues can hear from everyone. In order for people from around the country to field their comments and questions in a single forum this event will be held online on 24 January 2022, starting at 3 pm until 5 pm.

Following an introduction and overview of our themes for the upcoming year, there will be a Q+A session with a panel of Ofcom representatives, including our Chief Executive, Melanie Dawes. Finally, attendees will be invited to join a nation-specific discussion so they can field questions particularly relevant to their nation.

Details on how to join the session will be sent to you after you have registered. If you have any particular accessibility needs, such as hearing or sight impairment, please let us know when you register.

Anyone wishing to contribute in Welsh at the event will be welcome to do so and simultaneous translation will be provided.

Mae Ofcom yn cynnal digwyddiad rhithwir fel rhan o'r broses ymgynghori ar ein Cynllun Gwaith ar gyfer 2022/23

Mae'r digwyddiad yn rhoi cyfle i bobl ddweud eu dweud ar ein cynlluniau ar gyfer y flwyddyn i ddod. Mae hyn yn rhan o'n proses ymgynghori ehangach cyn cyhoeddi ein datganiad Cynllun Gwaith ym mis Mawrth 2022.

Yn wahanol i flynyddoedd blaenorol, eleni byddwn yn cynnal un digwyddiad gyda gwesteion o Gymru, Lloegr, yr Alban a Gogledd Iwerddon yn cael eu gwahodd i ymuno â'r digwyddiad unigol hwn fel y gall mynychwyr a chydweithwyr Ofcom glywed gan bawb. Er mwyn i bobl o bob cwr o'r wlad roi eu sylwadau a gofyn cwestiynau mewn un fforwm, cynhelir y digwyddiad hwn ar-lein ar 24 Ionawr 2022, gan ddechrau am 3 o’r gloch tan 5 o’r gloch.

Yn dilyn cyflwyniad a throsolwg o'n themâu ar gyfer y flwyddyn sydd i ddod, bydd sesiwn holi ac ateb gyda phanel o gynrychiolwyr Ofcom, gan gynnwys ein Prif Weithredwr, Melanie Dawes. Yn olaf, caiff mynychwyr eu gwahodd i ymuno â thrafodaeth sy'n benodol i wlad fel y gallant ofyn cwestiynau sy'n arbennig o berthnasol i'w gwlad nhw.
