What is Off the Wall?

Off the Wall is a new event series by Bridgeman Images celebrating how art can move beyond traditional formats and spaces. From murals to book covers, fashion to furniture, we spotlight creative projects that take art off the gallery wall and into everyday life.

SHEM is a London-based painter known for his bold, expressive work that blends urban aesthetics with themes of identity, activism, and storytelling. His art has appeared on murals, album covers, and even Saturday Night Live. This session brings you inside his studio.

What will happen during the event?

You'll get an exclusive glimpse into SHEM's creative process as he paints live in his studio. Alongside the live session, we’ll chat with SHEM about his journey, his inspirations, and what it means to use art as a tool for change.

Is the event interactive?

Yes! You'll have the chance to ask questions via the chat and interact with SHEM and the team in real time. Plus, we’re planning a special giveaway for one lucky attendee…

Will there be a giveaway?

Yes – one attendee will win the artwork SHEM creates during the live session. We're also exploring the idea of a special giveaway in collaboration with our design partner (more details to be revealed soon).
