Event description
UKADIA 2020 workshop at London College of Communication

About this Event

How do we develop and deliver art and design teaching to maximise creativity at the same time as considering the impact on the earth’s resources? What are the environmental, sustainability, social and economic factors that inform the selection and use of studio and workshop materials?

Printmaking and bookbinding at London College of Communication (LCC) promotes learning through making, while engaging in dialogue about safe, ethical and sustainable processes and practices.

In this online workshop, participants will undertake an exploration of the paper they have all around them. These bite-sized sessions will transform junk mail, leaflets and packaging into meaningful learning interventions that can be used in the classroom.

Participants will be sent:

A list of basic materials, including options and alternatives. Dates and links to ‘test your tech’ before joining the live session on the day. This session will be run on Collaborate ULTRA. No experience required.
