Office Hours is an initiative to give wiiings to game developers, providing a co-working space for game devs to meet, work together in-person and collaborate on their ideas and projects.

When is it?

This block is running from Tuesday October 22nd - Wednesday October 23rd. Co-working starts at 09:00 - 18:00, with an evening panel and networking event from 18:00 - 22:30 on both days. If you wish to use the space on both days, please make sure you book a spot for each event individually.

Who is it for?

Game developers of any level and function! Whether you’re a sole developer, a small team of five or a team of 20 who wants to work off-site, all are welcome.

What should I bring?

Ideally, you just need to bring your laptops or any essential equipment that is easy to transport. We have approximately 25 monitors (USB-C to HDMI adaptors not provided), keyboards and mice available. Please let the team know how much space you'll need when reaching out to book your slot.

How do I get there?

The Red Bull Gaming Sphere is located at Whitby St, London, E1 6JT. Closest Overground Station is Shoreditch High Street (3-minute walk), and closest Underground Station is Liverpool Street (14-minute walk). The venue is downstairs but there is a disabled access entrance available.

Will there be food?

Food will be provided for the panel/networking event in the evening, but you’ll need to provide your own food throughout the day, with many eateries in the area including BOXPARK Shoreditch across the road and Brick Lane around the corner.

Who can I bring?

Anyone over the age of 18! Please just give the team an accurate idea of how many of you there will be in your booking.

How big is the space?

Accepted Answer

The Red Bull Gaming Sphere will have a 45 capacity for a co-working setup, and 180 standing for the evening event. The team is always happy to discuss options with developers if they have any showcases they would like to run out of the venue.

Question 9

Can I book a separate room?

Accepted Answer

There are two separate rooms available, one being able to hold between 6-8 people, and the other holding 10-12 people. These rooms are separate to the main space, and will provide a quieter environment for calls if needed, but will be bookable in person on the day.
