Office Hours with Waterfront

Our Office Hours sessions offer you half an hour with experts and mentors in a variety of specialised areas. They are free to both members and non-members and are an excellent resource of information for all you bootstrapping startups.
Waterfront are solicitors that specialise in working with tech businesses, especially startups. Since their startup days, they’ve grown into an experienced boutique law firm, offering expertise in intellectual property, commercial, corporate and employment law. What means most to them is the relationships they’ve built with clients and focussing on you growing your business.
Graham Halliday specialises in Corporate Law, Ex Paris Smith LLP and DMGT &joined Waterfront as a solicitor in April 2015. Prior to joining Waterfront, Graham trained at Paris Smith and qualified as a Corporate Solicitor in October 2014. Graham has experience in advising clients on Corporate Law matters such as M&A and setting up businesses. His experience of working with a start up prior to entering the law has given him a good understanding of the issues which entrepreneurs and start ups face. Graham is a graduate of Southampton University and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.
Jean-Marc Pettigrew specialises in Commercial Contracts and IT Law, Ex-Peacock & Co, Cannings Connolly and Colemans ctts Solicitors. Jean-Marc qualified as a solicitor in May 2008. Jean-Marc has acted for a range of clients on a wide variety of commercial contracts, particularly in the IT and E-commerce sectors. He was promoted to partner in 2015. Jean-Marc is fluent in French.
