About The Oxford Foundry

The Oxford Foundry is a new entrepreneurial hub at the heart of the University of Oxford. It aims to support all 23,000 students, plus staff and alumni at Oxford in becoming more entrepreneurial.

The Foundry will support students across all disciplines of study in developing an entrepreneurial mind-set. It will leverage the invaluable resources and expertise that Oxford already hosts, and be a centre for up-skilling our community in developing skills in problem-solving, personal resilience and more.

About the event

This evening event will include an introduction by Prof Louise Richardson, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford and a Q&A session facilitated by Dean Peter Tufano of Saïd Business School with Apple CEO Tim Cook.

We'll be exploring what it takes to be entrepreneurial in outlook and action, discussing how all students at the University can build an entrepreneurial mind-set to help them in their future careers, and talking about how the Oxford Foundry will support students during and after their time at Oxford.

Running order for the event:

5:10-5:20pm Opening address

5:20-6:15pm In Conversation with Apple CEO Tim Cook (include audience Q&A)

6:15-7:30pm Canapés and networking drinks
