Event description

Description

Join the most active, engaged and innovative Community Businesses as we explore and celebrate positive social and environmental impact at this year’s Offline Festival on 15-17 September 2017. Project Dirt is hosting a weekend of incredible speakers, insightful hands-on workshops and practical business skill-building talks in the Buckinghamshire countryside.

Be empowered by our keynote speakers and panellists in The Power Forum as we explore environmental sustainability, business strategy and funding. Get cosy in The Patchwork Hub to gain the marketing skills you need to pitch your business and grow your community. Be part of The Eden Project Communities Allotment as we welcome them to the festival with branding and storytelling workshops to better your business. Unwind in our Woodland Retreat, wake up to yoga, laughter therapy and stress busting meditation and energise with our Power of Outdoors activities on The Village Green. As the sun goes down, dance to our foot-stomping ceilidh band, kick back to the comedy and roast marshmallows with the Fireside Storytelling camp.

Let’s move out of the office and into the world’s best classroom – where our creativity is on overdrive!

So who is Offline Festival for? Community Businesses, Social enterprises, projects & charities and people wanting to start a Community Business. A unique blend of people who are passionate about cultivating social change and positive impact within their community. This festival is for YOU!

What to expect! An un-conference in the countryside! A festival of music, dance & playfulness! Like your AGM, without the boring bits. The weekend is a fusion of expanding our knowledge base, networking, zoning out and having a blast.

Powered by Project Dirt in collaboration with Power to Change.
