Offshore Renewable Energy Farm Design and O&M
Mon 27 March 2017, 09:00 – 18:00 CEST
OceaNET is organizing its final Workshop under the theme “Offshore Renewable Energy farm design and O&M” in Bilbao on March 27. The event will bring together a pool of experts and young up-and-coming researchers from the offshore renewables sector to sum up the main findings of the project and discuss current and future challenges of this emerging industry.
The conference programme will cover topics on array design, implementation and O&M of offshore wind and wave energy, with special focus on the work carried out in the scope of the OceaNET Project. The discussion will explore the benefits of Initial/Innovative Training Networks to the development of the industry and to market integration
OceaNET is a multinational Initial Training Network (ITN) funded under the PEOPLE Programme (Marie Curie Actions) of European Union’s FP7. The overall objective of the project is to provide training to a group of 13 early-stage researchers in the fields of floating offshore wind and wave energy to support the emerging marine renewable energy sector.
